2020 AFL Season Cancelled

Earlier tonight the voting member teams of the Alberta Football League unanimously voted in favour of cancelling the 2020 season. While we were optimistic we would be taking the field for a shortened season in August, today’s announcement by the Alberta Government left too much uncertainly for our team’s to operate successfully.

The Bucs will be committing the summer to being active in our communities and getting back out on the gridiron for the 2021 season.

Buccaneers start their season with 2-0 record. After breaking down the game film from the Bucs first two weeks of play coaches and captains look to improve defensive execution on the gridiron. QB Jarrett Burzuk threw for 396 yards week 2 vs. The Monarchs.
