Nelson back for ‘Final’ season with Buccaneers 

Don Nelson is gearing up for his last ride. The Central Alberta Buccaneers longtime centre and 25+ year veteran of the game will be back in the middle of the O-Line for the 2023 season. Nelson, one of the longest active serving lineman in the league, joins Terrek Bryant on the line tasked with defending Bucs quarterbacks. He first joined the Bucs in 2018 after spending time with the Calgary Gators.

Even in his 26th season, Nelson expects to see big minutes in key situations and will hope to help the line find the form it had in 2021 when they gave up the fewest number of sacks in the league. #TogetherWeSail #ToTheShip
